Everybody in the Seattle area knows the I-5 and for many people it is part of their daily commute. It is one of the two routes crossing Lake Washington and thus links Seattle with Redmond.

The song is not clear about the situation but it is a young man from Seattle travelling to his job in Redmond with Microsoft in an old beat-up deux-chevaux (Citroen).

As he drives he runs through the names of his various girlfriends and sort of sums up the experience with each one.

One of the knobs I can play with in VOCALOID5 is the "gruffness" slider. A certain amount of "gruffness" makes the voice sound a bit bluesy. I maybe overdid a little bit here!
